Book Haul

I'm here today with a book haul.  This is all the books I've got since my last book haul, which was back in May.  I've obtained a total of four books - so not that many, but I figured, enough to make this post!

Here they are in the sunshine, which has suddenly started appearing again.  For me, it's great weather for reading because I can sit outside in the warmth and sun, with only the sound of the birds (and the occasional passing car) to disturb me.

The first book I got was We Were Liars by E. Lockhart.  I've already read and enjoyed this book - you can see my review/discussion here - and despite having thought I would never reread it, I've been thinking about it lately and I think that I might soon.  Plus, it was pretty cheap!

The next book I got was Reawakened by Colleen Houck.  I was really trying to hold off on buying this because I was trying to save money, and I had succeeded in not preordering it, despite visiting The Book Depository multiple times to stare at it, but then it was released and good reviews started filling my Bloglovin' feed... and I guess I bought it.

You may know that I adore the Tiger's Curse books by Colleen Houck, so this really was inevitable.

The next book I got was Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas, and again, I wasn't going to buy it just yet, especially since I haven't read Heir of Fire yet.  But then it went on sale for a super good price so yeah...  I didn't take any pictures of this one because you've probably seen enough of it ;)

The last book I got was The Krakow Klub by Philip C. Elrod.

This is the first physical review copy I've ever got, so a big thanks to Book Publicity Services for providing me with it (in exchange for an honest review).  Be expecting a review of this soon!

Have you got any books recently that you're excited about?

  1. We Were Liars would be interesting to re-read. I'm curious to go back through and see all the hint that I missed while reading. I heard that it might be made into a movie, too :).

    1. I agree! It would be great to pick up new clues.
That's interesting. I wonder how they will do it.

  2. Love the cover for The Krakow Klub! The only one I've read was We Were Liars and I was one of those who although enjoyed it at first, the more I thought about it, the less impressive it seemed. Don't know how to explain it hahaha
Hope you enjoy your new books! ^^

I know what you mean :) I'm like that with some books too.
      Thanks!

  3. YO, I loveddddddd We Were Liars omggggg. I know there are mixed reviews about it, but just know I adored the writing, and the characters, especially my dear Gat. & while I guessed the plot twist, (at the last second, clearly I wasn't Sherlock Holmes this time around) I still managed to drop a tear or two, or maybe three lol. I have the hardcover version of Reawakened and it's sooo pretty. I can't wait to pick it up!

    1. Yay! I'm so glad you liked the writing too - that's something I always hear people don't like.
Hahaha! I was the same as you - guessed it right before the reveal - and yeah, I cried too haha.
Oooh I can imagine it must be gorgeous. Hope you like it!
