This is going to be a pretty different post to what I do normally, so feel free to skip it if you're only here for the books!
Recently, I was away from the internet because I went on a one-week holiday to South Australia with my family. It was a lot of fun, and I took a lot of pictures! This is mostly because I got a new phone with a great camera recently, so I was snap-happy. Today I thought I might share some of the pictures with you. I originally tried to embed them as a slideshow, but it just didn't look the way I wanted to, so I've put all the separate images out on this post. If you're interested, keep reading!
First, here are some images of the beach that was just down the road from where we were staying. There were quite a lot of rocks along the shore (as you can hopefully see) which made for some awesome moments. Water would hit the rocks and splash everywhere. Naturally, I didn't catch any of these moments on camera.
All the photos expand if you click on them.
On New Year's Eve we visited the Adelaide Zoo - home of the only two giant pandas in Australia. I love all kinds of animals (I'm hoping to work for them one day), and I get uneasy sometimes at zoos when I see exotic animals living so far away from home, among other things. But on this day I got to talk to some of the keepers and it was great to hear about the special things that they are doing to help these creatures all feel as comfortable as possible and how they're helping the rest of their species with conservation efforts.

So that's all the photos that I managed to cut it down to! I'll be back with some more book related posts in the near future :)
