Fall Time Cozy Book Tag

So I went missing for several weeks again.  I feel like this keeps happening, and I'm really sorry about it.  I think I might have to start scheduling breaks so that I stop getting burnt out.  When I stop blogging I also tend to avoid blogs altogether because that brings on the guilt, so sorry I haven't visited anyone's blogs recently.  I have over 200 posts to catch up on, but I will do it!

Anyway, today I have the Fall Time Cozy Book Tag.  I was tagged by the lovely Noelia @ A Day In Bookland and although it is spring in Australia, I'm doing it!

Crunchy Leaves! The world is full of colour. Choose a book that has reds, oranges or yellows on the cover.
In case you don't think I've been talking about Illuminae quite enough in my latest posts, I'm picking it for this question!  It has reds, oranges and yellows on its cover.

Cozy Jumper! It’s finally cold enough to don warm, cozy clothing. What book gives you the warm fuzzies?.
Howl's Moving Castle for sure.  I just can't get enough of that story and the characters and the ending always makes me feel happy inside.

Autumn Storm! The wind is howling and the rain is pounding. Choose your favourite book or genre that you like to read on a stormy day.
Fantasy or a scary thrillers are perfect when there’s a storm - it adds to the atmosphere.

Cool Crisp Air! Who’s the coolest character you’d want to trade places with?
There’s not many cool characters I would want to trade places with, because usually they are faced with death defying situations.  However, despite the many obstacles that she is facing, I think it would be nice to switch places with Blue from The Raven Cycle.  She's definitely cool and her life is, at the very least, interesting.

Hot Apple Cider! What under-hyped book do you want to see become the next biggest, hottest thing?
I don't really know what counts as under-hyped, and I don't think I've read too many under-hyped books... But what about the Every Breath series by Ellie Marney?

Coats, Scarves and Mittens! The weather has turned cold and it’s time to cover up. What’s the most embarrassing book cover you own that you like to keep hidden in public?
City of Bones.  Let’s face it, the cover has a half naked guy on the front and, call me spineless but I don’t really like what that implies I’m reading!  I almost didn't read this book because of how much my family was making fun of its cover.

Pumpkin Spiced Latte! What’s your favourite Fall Time comfort food or drink?
I used to make those brownie-in-a-mug things and they were delicious.  Unfortunately, I eventually had to wake up to what I was doing and admit that eating three a week probably wasn't going to end well!  Now I don't have them at all, because the temptation is too great :P

Warm, Cozy Bonfire! Spread the cozy warmth! Who do you tag?
I will try to spread the warmth as far as I can, and tag anyone with the letter 'A' in their blog URL!

Let me know if you've done this tag bellow!  What are your favourite autumn things?

  1. Great answers Sabrina! :) I think being Blue is actually a great idea. I wouldn't mind to be part of that gang hahaha and oh well, I have to agree with you about City of Bones. I never took it out of the house either and I only read in public those TMI books where the models weren't naked LOL
My favourite autumn things are hot chocolate, scarves and blankets. Give me that and a good book and I'll be happy forever ;)

    1. Thanks Noelia :)
Being part of that gang would be fabulous - except even though I love Ronan in the books, I think I would be a bit scared of him in real life!
I'm glad you agree with the City of Bones cover! Even the books with the non-naked models weren't exactly the best covers...
Those are such simple things to make you happy, I hope you get to enjoy that during every autumn :)
