So strange!...Haha that happens to me sometimes too.
So strange! Well, it does have a high average rating on Goodread (4.15), so if you really think you might like it, there's a high possibility that you will!
To be honest, it didn't feel much like Holly Black or Cassandra Clare - it was like another author altogether! So maybe it's a good idea for you to skip that one.Sabrinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15762635239865326562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6043678383360326207.post-45643780049184776302015-04-19T21:22:41.309+10:002015-04-19T21:22:41.309+10:00I totally remember leaving a comment here before b...I totally remember leaving a comment here before but I guess I just planned to. I'm so confused haha.
I don't know if I want to read Red Queen. I've read many reviews of it, it seems to me nearly everyone has read it who I'm following, and they didn't seem to be agree on many things. Reviewers whose opinion I trust has the opposite opinion of Red Queen which really confuses me. I might skip this book, even though this was one of my most awaited releases.
I never really wanted to read The Iron Trial, I don't know it just doesn't strike me as exciting or interesting. I love Holly Black but I'll still pass on this novel. There's only a couple people whose opinions I still trust. It does hype up the book, setting it up for a larger fall. I think if I hadn't been expecting so much from this, I wouldn't have disliked it as much. Good on you for deciding that - I never make the final decision not to read something, I just leave it uncertain, if that makes sense.
There are a lot of good reviews for The Iron Trial and a lot of bad reviews too. It is very frustrating to hear it! Yes, I adore Harry Potter too, but I don't think that only JK Rowling has the right to write about magic schools.
Thanks Noelia!Sabrinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15762635239865326562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6043678383360326207.post-40098368441853674962015-04-17T07:04:27.123+10:002015-04-17T07:04:27.123+10:00It's good to see another negative review about...It's good to see another negative review about Red Queen. I mean, all I've been hearing are awesome stuff, especially on Booktube and sometimes I just don't trust that. It tends to hype up the book. And thought I was anticipating this one since last year, I think I'll pass on this one. No regrets! And I never really wanted to read The Iron Trial even though there are some good reviews out there. I'm a bit tired of hearing is a rip-off.... of course is gonna have similarities with HP because they deal with the same background but c'mon! not only JK. Rowling can write about a magical school (and this comes from the person who adores HP). But anyways, good reviews :)Noelia Alonsohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15995117581573105992noreply@blogger.com
